General description:

As a Xeikon Application Engineer, your goals are to enable our customers learning all the necessary knowledge of Xeikon Press quickly and using Xeikon Press to do production correctly and efficiently and to support the sales by conducting demo, benchmark in the demo center as well as in the exhibition.

Your job area is in the demo center as well as in the field, with our customers in close cooperation with our Sales and Service team inclusive travel in China.

Main tasks:

• Plan, prepare and execute customer demonstrations, test and benchmarks in the demo center.

• Define and implement improvements to generate additional print volumes

• Provide consultancy for workflow and productivity improvements

• Deliver technical expertise in use of Xeikon presses

  • Operator training

  • Media scripting

  • Color management training

  • Cost awareness and cost efficiency

• Organize a structured follow up to assure the success of the delivered services

Profile:

• Proven success in a Customer Service and demo environment

• Experience with digital printing industry.

• Experience and knowledge in printing, prepress.

• Familiar with Adobe Software, color management software.

• Excellent communication skills

• Excellent analytic skills, quick learner of technical data

• Strong customer focus and commitment to teamwork with internal and external partners

• Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel and Word

• Ability to communicate in English

• Self-supporting, flexible, stress resistant

• Cost conscious, pragmatic

• Prepared to travel within Japan for up to 60% of your time
