In this role you will:

• Be responsible for ensuring the testability and manufacturability of integrated circuits from the component feasibility stage through production ramp.
• Make significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
• Evaluate, develop and debug of complex test methods.
• Develop and debug complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
• Create and test validation and production test hardware solutions.
• Test, validate, modify and redesign circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
• Analyze and evaluate component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
• Analyze early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
• Create and apply concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
• Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork classes and project work internships and or work experience.

Minimum qualifications:

• The candidate must have a B.S. in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering and/or at least 3+ years of engineering experience in relevant fields OR have a M.S. in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering and/or 2+ years of industry experience.
• Coding knowledge, Scripting in Perl and/or Python.
• Strong knowledge of computer and system architecture concepts.
• Solid understanding of digital circuits, its associated test methods and fault models.
• Intermediate to Advanced English level
• Candidate must have unrestricted permanent right to work in Costa Rica

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in logic validation and characterization.
• Fundamental knowledge of DFx including exposure to Automated Test Equipment tester platforms.
• Experience in SBFT testing techniques and tester debug using software and hardware debug tools.
• Experience in Testing Methodologies, Test content development, generation and validation.
• Demonstrated team technical leadership and demonstrated project management skills are highly desirable.
