The Job
- To assist the MPFA in planning and implementing engagement programmes targeting specific cohorts (e.g. self-employed persons, working population of diverse races and new arrivals);
- To help communicate messages to target cohorts; and
- To perform other duties in corporate communications as assigned.
The Person
- Fresh graduates with a recognized degree, preferably in communications, public relations, marketing or equivalent disciplines;
- Relevant experience in publicity, community engagement, public relations or public education projects will be an advantage;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua or knowledge of other languages, such as Urdu, Nepali or Hindi, will be an advantage;
- Open-minded, innovative, outgoing, flexible, sensitive, conscientious and a good team player; and
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Remuneration Package
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with the appointee’s qualifications and relevant experience. The appointment will be made initially on a 9-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal of the appointment, subject to operational needs and staff performance.
