Description
1. Major Responsibilities and Degree of Influence
  • Responsible for all aspects of dealer performance under assigned geographical areas. The ultimate measure is:
Sales performance in vehicles and marketing
Profitability
Compliance with BMW/NSC operating standards in Sales, Marketing, CI & Facilities, Training, Personnel and Dealer Systems
  • As such, the Area Manager has a basic responsibility to ensure that dealers achieve the set objectives and standards.
- In addition, the Area Manager is responsible for the direct supervision of the Manager - Special Vehicles and cares for and advises dealers in all matters related to passenger car sales including implementation of dealer marketing activities.
  • He advises the dealers in managerial and corporate matters and is responsible for the overall Dealer Development tasks.

Qualifications and Experience
2. Qualifications
Economic sciences or legal studies with economic sciences as subsidiary subject (tertiary level).

3. Knowledge / Skills /Competences
  • Trainee program (specifically in sales) or sufficient knowledge of tangent divisions.
  • Chinese and English fluently (written and spoken)
  • Driver license
  • Extensive knowledge of market and service structure in the Chinese vehicle environment.
  • Experience in motor vehicle dealer retail operations.
  • Understanding of basic marketing concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of electronic data processing

4. Experience
- Minimum Year 12 - VCE qualification
