About the position
We are looking for an SAP Specialist in the Accounting & Financial Reporting team at Japan HQ. We are looking for a passionate professional who can deliver the following:
- Financial integrity – Ensure the completeness and accuracy of Daimler Truck Asia’s financial reporting and maintain effective internal controls
- Operational excellence – Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through business process optimization/reengineering, automation, digitalization and business process outsourcing
- Business partnering – Work with process owners on process and system related issues as well as with the German headquarter team on the resolution of incidents
- Work on local change requests and implement new system functionality
- Give strategic and operational direction by advising on the impact and effect of process and system changes, and develop recommendations to support successful implementation of business changes
- Facilitate communication and know how transfer to the process owners
- Design process changes (local changes in process, local changes in upstream legacy systems, or changes in the standard template)
- Coordinate support activities (e.g. regression testing, CISM, etc) with external service providers
