The cbFC DTA HUB group in Tokyo is responsible for Accounting and Controlling processes and methods in the APAC region. The cbFC DTA HUB maintains and develops Daimler cbFC (common basic finance and controlling) processes and methods and acts as 2nd level support between process owners on business side and the 3rd level support in the Headquarter in Germany. Besides regular support activities the group is running project activities implementing new functionality or enhancing the cbFC scope and is also involved in other projects initiated by the business providing process and system expertise.


1. Drive the cbFC support of Product Controlling for cbFC DTA HUB entities.
2. Work with the respective Product Controlling process owners on process and system related issues as well as with Level 3 support on the resolution of Incidents
3. Work on local changes requests and implement new system functionality provided by the cbFC Template.
4. Strategic and operational direction by advising on the impact and effect of process and system changes, and develop recommendations to support successful implementation of business changes.
5. Facilitate communication and know how transfer to the process owners
6. Support cbFC implementation and other business driven projects with cbFC and Financial Accounting related expertise and knowledge considering efficient and effective processes and methods and strategic corporate goals.
7. Design process changes (local changes in process, local changes in upstream legacy systems, or changes in the cbFC Template)
8. coordinate support activities (e.g. regression testing, CISM, etc) with the external service provider
