Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a team cormap administrator to join Siemens Mobility – Rolling stock. The role is based at the Boogie centre in Lincoln. The Role The Team cormap administrator is responsible for administrative services and support to the depot and/or project team. This role requires flexibility to cover a range of tasks from general office administration, (stationary, file/record keeping, correspondence, diary management, travel) as well as analysis, reporting and general administration support for managers / supervisors. You will be required to support the senior administrator as/when required as well as providing absence cover. The team administrator is the first point of contact for technician queries as well as being a key point of contact for external and internal customers as well as other team members, responding to general queries & supporting their induction into the business. Key Accountabilities: Send out shift briefs in a timely fashion Update production cell boards Following business practices, raise work packs using CORMAP and assign work to technicians as directed by the duty supervisor Approving raised work orders to allow technicians to continue their duties Understand the input / output requirements for the day to plan work based on priority Check incoming documentation to ensure all required information is provided Raising of outgoing documentation (passports) Carry out material asset management including: Transferring assets digitally Attaching / removing assets Updating trackers (scrap, transfer, etc) Checking of documentation / systems at defined gateways Organizing and maintaining office supplies; files; maintenance / inspection forms. Ensuring recording forms have been filled in correctly Scanning of documentation and placing in correct areas Schedule resources such as people, meeting rooms, and equipment; respond to questions; sort and distribute mail, fax, make copies, file. Arrange and set-up meeting rooms, catering arrangements, booking taxis and couriers, booking of travel and hotel for team members. Support in the input & processing of expenses in a timely manner. Management and support of depot team’s organisation – e.g team meetings, one to one meeting, delivery of PMP inputs and outputs, team building events Prepare, compose, and edit complex documents and other correspondence. Prepares presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents to support the management team. Checking safety critical paperwork for inconsistencies and completion Updating and reviewing certain trackers for team performance. Qualifications, Experience & Technical Know-How Essential: Functional knowledge of specialist systems and procedures. Knowledge of the Rail business, components and systems. Experience with the following systems: CORMAP (Siemens implementation of MAXIMO Software) Report Manager Microsoft Office Programs, especially Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access Essential Highly organized, with an ability to prioritise workload and achieve objectives with minimal supervision IT literate – good knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook Flexible, can-do attitude capable of working on own initiative and within a team High attention to detail and presentation Excellent communication skills and telephone manner – able to professionally manage requests and queries from a range of stakeholders – employees, managers, external customers About us We’re Siemens.
