Summary of role:
Interface between plant and sales office (Local Business Partner) for Tier1 KOB3 orders
Proactively manage KOB3 goods backlog
Provide updates and status reports to sales office or customer as required
Work with plant team to get order status and support prioritization
Support resolution of customer inquiries and adherence to customer request date
Manage customer change orders appropriately
Accountable for:
Timely and comprehensive updates to customer or sales office (Local Business Partner)
Communication of customer requirements to the plant
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer and Sales Office Communication:
Work with subject matter expert to respond to customer inquires within 24 hours.
Managing Orders:
Proactively manage KOB3 backlog
Ensure all orders are managed and have been entered correctly to ensure correct product specification, agreed delivery, certification, and documentation requirements.
Communication of shipping, resolve invoicing issues
Coordinate inspection if required
Status Updates:
Assist in sales shipment forecasting
Provide reporting on order status
Follow up on commitments and delivery milestones with the plant
Change Order Management:
Provide technical and application support for customer inquiries.
