dCommerce Media & Shopper Marketing Manager Latin America, México.

 

The dCommerce Shopper Marketing Manager will own the shopper marketing strategy, eRetail media and will be the single point of contact for eCommerce Media Expertise in Latin American region. This role will be responsible in driving dCommerce channel by delivering eRetail specific insights and recommendation on media, to maximize efficiency & effectiveness of investments.

This role will support the establishment of an insight-driven organization, working with shopper behavior & customer first in mind, while focusing on recruitment and retainment of shoppers into our brands and category in the online channel.

 

What are we looking for? 

 

  • Professional Degree equivalent in a business-related discipline, preferably with eCommerce or Media background
  • Business English Proficiency is a must have.
  • Strong expertise with digital media, preferably experience in working in performance marketing as well as/or eRetailers such as Amazon and/or Mercado Libre or Last Mile Delivery (Rappi, Cornershop)
  • Proven track record in working with media agencies and eRetailers
  • Self-starter with ability to work highly independently and act as subject matter expert for broader business
  • Insight and data driven individuum to eager to optimize investments & plans
     
    What would be your key responsibilities? 
     
  • Define the Latam Shopper Marketing Strategy for eCommerce channel including customer first marketing eCommerce campaigns, owning the development of optimum plans and continuous validation & optimization of media investments against business relevant KPIs
  • eRetail media for the region, working closely with local dComm teams, customer media teams, media agencies and regional marketing to support with expertise and help defining most effective shopper marketing plans while leading negotiations on pricing for online media in partnership with agencies & customers. 
  • Develop a “Perfect Digital Activation” strategy toolkit for Latin America, by further evolving the global program to specific regional Latam needs & customer landscape via:
  • Defining Test and Learns plan for eComm media to iterate eCommerce specific questions across multiple customers & deploy in close collaboration with local dComm teams
  • Measurement & analysis of all relevant online shopper marketing campaigns within dComm channel to analyze the efficiency & effectiveness of ongoing TE & MAB investments
  • Codification of learnings & development of relevant media toolkits for pureplay, click & mortar & last mile delivery businesses, to get maximum return on investments for online shopper marketing campaigns, while achieving business critical KPIs
  • Identify further media solutions to drive category growth for our key customers & the Mars share, by looking into full customer journey.
  • Define the key shopper insights to work on and propose the optimum plan considering both on site (retailer search, display advertising, videos etc) and off site (social media, display, Email marketing) media activities, using retailer consumer data or Mars 1st party to target shoppers, drive awareness & conversion into our Brands
  • Define New Growth Models for unlocking growth of super premium brands and impulse driven technologies in online channel with help of shopper marketing activities, under consideration of relevant insights   
  • Develop optimum Promotional strategy for online channel with testing, measuring and defining winning promotional mechanics across different brands & technologies.

  • This is a regional role, based in Mexico, Querétaro or Brazil, with responsibility to support the entire region, by delivering relevant shopper marketing plans and business insights across markets. This role will require an individual who has a deep understanding & experience of dCommerce channel and especially strong media background preferably with eRetailer media as well as high affinity for working with data. The role will collaborate closely with the local and global dComm teams, regional & local marketing teams as well as customer media teams and external agency network.
