Job Overview
 
The e-Mobility team at Thomas Built Buses is responsible for development, launch and support of the new electric school bus "Jouley". As the automotive industry is entering its new phase with sustainable mobility solutions, we at TBB are leading the charge in the school bus industry by launching the best in class electric school bus and providing the ecosystem that our customers need to successfully operate them.
In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing the incentive opportunities available across North America and Canada for  electric school buses and coordinate with our dealers, customers and other stake holders like government entities. e-Mobility is an emerging, exciting technology, and the right person will drive TBB's success by helping our customers and network adopt the new vehicles into their operations.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate service vendor activities for tracking availability of funds and grants for electric school buses and analyze incentives.

- Work with TBB dealers to collect local funding opportunities

- Drive and oversee applications for grants and incentive programs for TBB and their customers

- Create and maintain a database of all agreements, partnerships, and incentives by customer, region and governmental program

- Provide company perspective on incentive programs by working closely with customers and sales

- Coordinate and support activities with TBB/DTNA compliance and regulatory affairs department for electric vehicle deployment

- Foster and expand relationship with governmental agency representatives associated with e-Mobility

- Support engineering, financial services, aftermarket, sales, and other departments by providing the utility perspective to achieve a mutual benefit for Daimler, their customers and the utility companies

- Broaden your expertise outside of your immediate responsibilities and become an expert in e-Mobility topics.

- Work with Compliance engineering to understand the applicability of funds for TBB product specs

- Work with Daimler's EMG team to determine future business needs and strategy.
 

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree focused in Business, Science or related fields from an accredited university/college with 3+ years of related experience; OR Master's degree +1 year of experience required.


- An attached resume is required.


- Must be well organized, able to handle multiple, detailed tasks, and work professionally with various levels of management required.


- Customer orientated with a real sense for the marketplace required.


- Excellent management and leadership skills required.


- Strong interpersonal skills and, oral and written communication skills required.


- Willingness to travel (up to 30%) required.


- Detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated required.


- Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Experience preferred.

- Experience in Automotive industry preferred.


- Experience with Governmental Affairs, Incentives or Grant applications preferred.
