Purchasing Responsibilities

• Study and complete sales transactions
• Research potential vendors, compare and negotiate prices with suppliers / vendors
• Managing levels and distribution of stock and inventory
• Keep abreast of changes affecting both the supply of, and demand for, needed products and materials.
• Obtains requirements by verifying, preparing and forwarding purchase orders; verify receipt of items; authorizes payment
• Responsible for developing long term relationships with vendors/suppliers through daily communication.
• Packing & Shipping Responsibilities
• Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Calculates estimated costs associated with the shipping/delivery function and recommends appropriate alternatives.
• Maintains various files and records – both computerized and hard copy files.
• Responsible for tracking and shipping and updating parcels in real time

Requirement:

• Detail oriented; proactive with a can-do attitude ; self-starter
• Undergraduate holder or above (recent graduates with working experience are welcome to apply)
• Intrigue in eCommerce, Online Marketing and technology
• Knows how to shop online (ex: Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Taobao etc)
• People oriented, communicate closely with teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Drive,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese
• Willing to work on Saturday (half day)
