Objective:
- China as our most important and greatest market and is pushing massively towards electric mobility. Standards and regulations for a New Energy Vehicles change rapidly.
- Within this fast growing and developing business of Daimler in China, the eDrive relevant business is continuously developing. While series production for PHEVs and BEVs will soon be running under full steam, new electric products need to be implemented.
- For our eDrive PLE/Integration team this means more and more project steering, system integration, components localization and development. Also the coordination and testing for new NEV-projects for the China market is one main topic for the team.
- This means you will:
- Lead one or more of the eDrive projects, module group and testing activities in China, which means, you will deal with the following tasks.

Tasks:
- Get familiar with all eDrive high-voltage components, system and software
- Be responsible for function and integration of eDrive components in local produced cars
- Support RD-development eDrive for china specific development and localisation work
- Analyze System and eDrive component issues from field and development cars
- Be responsible for specific edrive component applications
- Be in close contact with eDrive RD-development departments in Germany
- Make sure the eDrive components are working before first integration into the vehicle
- Make sure that eDrive compnents are working int the production plant for the first build ups
- Define requirements for eDrive components for local developments and suppliers of eDrive – powertrain.
- Support of overall eDrive System testing incl. RTM, Analyzing, documentationand short term countermeasure
- Create test reports and report into Commodity group eDrive and eDrive projects in Germany
