Our Global eLearning Practice helps training teams in global companies who want to ensure successful training outcomes amongst their workforce and customers by avoiding the disadvantages of the traditional “eLearning and localization as separate activities” approach, and by simplifying the vendor ecosystem through a single, expert solution provider with a comprehensive integrated solution.
About The Role:
Provides the full range of strategy and business consulting services to clients that result in excellent customer satisfaction, retention and ultimately repeat revenue growth. Applies deep strategy, business and consulting expertise to solving complex and/or critical customer issues.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years’ experience in relevant eLearning development roles and positions
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Ability and confidence to communicate with clients and present to groups
- Experience in localization and language services industry is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence – Provides the full range of strategy and business consulting solutions and services to client engagements, often for complex projects, new accounts and/or new business. Typically leads a work stream to deliver multiple solutions and/or services. May also lead a large, standalone strategy and business consulting engagement. Leads a work stream in delivering the full cycle of activities from problem identification to solution proposal to implementation and close.
- Delivers Quality, Value, Results – Applies deep expertise in strategy and business to solving complex and/or critical customer issues or environments. May focus on more strategic issues vs. operational issues that will have a significant input on customer success. Is a key contributor to the overall project team, providing guidance on structuring the project and ensuring integration.
- Functional Excellence – Contributes to the overall strategy of the Strategy & Business Consulting function based on experience and feedback from the customer as well as domain expertise. Helps to develop expertise within the Strategy & Business function by coaching and mentoring others and providing performance feedback.
- Relationship Building – Develops positive customer relationships by demonstrating how consulting services add value to the client’s business. Helps to cultivate future business opportunities by understanding the client’s evolving business needs. Partners and collaborate with internal organizations to ensure integration and alignment of consulting services with other services.
- Learning Experience & Design – Design, plan, and assist in implementing content development eLearning solutions for RWS clients. Consult clients’ training leaders on innovations in their eLearning and training road map and suggest best practices for continuous growth and improvement as well as successful localization of their training materials. Investigate and maintain up to date with industry trends such as micro-learning, mobile-learning, gamification and their potential application to RWS client requirements and learning objectives.
- Business & Account Development – Participate and lead new business development conversations, meetings and RFPs acting as subject matter expert and sales support for the business development team. Assist in pre-sales meetings, calls, workshops, and client events. Work with Instructional Designers, Graphic Designers, Developers, Testers and Project Managers to build project plans, budgets and oversee adherence to these. Assist and support and present in industry specific workshops and events.
- Department Development – Assists in design, development and growth of eLearning Solutions practice at RWS. Design and define workplaces, processes, and best practices within the team. Support with documentation and training initiatives. Collaborate and support in key department decisions such as selection of eLearning specific technology and applications best suited for RWS eLearning Practice and their application and use. Work well as part of a team and be self-motivated, lead and act as mentor to other team members and new hires.
