Job Overview
 
In this position within the eMobility Group, you will lead and coordinate thermal simulation for eMobility – working as a key member of the thermal systems team.  In addition, provide guidance and support for vehicle simulation for eMobility energy efficiency improvements.



Responsibilities
 
Support the thermal systems development team by taking the lead on thermal simulation, this includes the development of the thermal models, alignment of analysis with DTNA and global teams, and working with suppliers for component models.
Guild the thermal team based on post processing and simulation knowledge
Develop and support vehicle simulation methodologies to provide insights on energy efficiency improvements for eMobility
Develop an in-depth knowledge of thermal related components and lead development of thermal modelling capabilities.
Project management of development.
Interface with Chassis Engineering thermal department.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related from an accredited university/college with 3+ years of related experience OR Masters degree with 1+ years related experience required

- Working experience with thermal simulation (GT Suite, Kuli, etc...) required


- Experience building thermal models to ensure accurate results required


- Understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics and cooling tradeoffs for performance optimization required


- Vehicle simulation and vehicle controls (Matlab Simulink and/or other simulation systems) preferred

- An attached resume is required
