General Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and qualified AP Chemistry Teacher to join our collaborative and innovative educational community. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging English-medium Chemistry lessons that meet the needs of a diverse student body
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive AP Chemistry curriculum aligned with international standards
- Collaborating with peers to integrate Chemistry concepts into interdisciplinary programs, including support for STEM initiatives and extracurricular activities
- Embracing and promoting the 4C skills (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity) in the classroom and across the school
- Actively participating in curriculum development, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with students and parents through regular communication and parent-teacher conferences
- Offering elective courses or leading clubs to enrich the school's co-curricular program
- Covering classes for colleagues when necessary and assisting with student activities as required
- Demonstrating a commitment to the care and progress of all students, with proactive reporting of concerns and achievements
- Exhibiting flexibility and willingness to take on additional duties as assigned by the school management
Requirements:
- Native English speaker
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field
- A recognized teaching qualification or equivalent experience
- Prior teaching experience, preferably with AP or international curriculum, is a plus
- Full proficiency in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, and parents
