International High-School Japanese Conversation Teacher

Native-Japanese Speaker | Master’s Required | 3+ yrs Experience
We are opening a new Japanese track inside one of Jiangsu’s top international high-school campuses and need a mother-tongue Japanese educator to build the spoken-Japanese programme from the ground up.
What you will do：
• Teach zero-beginner → intermediate conversation to Grades 10-12 (max 20 students/class)
• Design the annual conversation syllabus, weekly lesson plans and assessment rubrics
• Team up with the Modern-Languages department to run Japanese club, speech contests, anime & calligraphy days, short study-trip to Japan, etc.
• Work Monday-Friday, no office hours, weekends off (≈ 18–20 teaching periods / week)
Must-have checklist：
1. Native Japanese speaker who uses standard Japanese (hyōjungo) in class – no strong regional accent
2. Master’s degree (or above) in Japanese education, applied linguistics, or education
3. Minimum 3 years teaching Japanese to non-native speakers at secondary or tertiary level
4. HSK-4 (or higher) Chinese – you can explain grammar in Chinese when needed
5. Cheerful, patient, team-oriented – love teenagers and love teaching Japanese
6. Deep interest in Chinese culture and able to live in China long-term
Preferred extras
• TOEFL iBT ≥ 70 (or equivalent) – occasional bilingual meetings
• Experience with IB / AP / A-level Japanese curriculam
Package (full legal work visa provided)
• Monthly salary: RMB 23,000 – 28,000 pre-tax (12 months)
