Job Description
In order to fulfil this responsibility, teachers will:
 teach students in a way that enables them to achieve high standards of
learning
 contribute towards the provision of a dynamic, creative international
learning environment
 actively participate in the development of the school
 undertake long, medium and short term planning to ensure appropriate
curriculum coverage according to the requirements of the respective
examination board syllabi
 work as part of the team of Science teachers to organise the Science Fair
and IBDP Group 4 project
 ensure that student learning in classes is monitored, appropriately
assessed and that the results of such assessment are used to enhance
learning
 regularly report progress of students to parents
 undertake the role of a Homeroom teacher if required
 actively participate in the range of extra-curricular activities and
programmes that take place outside the regular school day
 take part in designated school events, as defined by the school calendar
 undertake any other reasonable task that school leadership deems to be
appropriate
