Job Description:
Our public international school in Zhuhai is seeking a qualified and experienced High School History teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching American History, World Culture, and TOEFL preparation courses to our international program students in Grades 10 and 11.
Responsibilities:
• Teach American History, World Culture, and TOEFL courses to high school students.
• Develop engaging and interactive lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Provide academic guidance and support to students, including regular feedback and assessment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience.
• Participate in school-organized activities and professional development opportunities.
• Weekly teaching hours will not exceed 20 classes (including 3 evening study sessions).
Work Schedule:
• Morning: 7:20 am - 11:55 am
• Afternoon: 14:20 - 17:30
• Evening: 19:00 - 21:45 (for evening study sessions)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in American History, World Culture, or similar subjects.
• Experience in teaching TOEFL preparation courses is highly desirable.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Monthly salary: RMB 21,000 - 22,000 (pre-tax, negotiable based on qualifications and experience).
