-School ESL Teacher – International Department
Direct-Hire Position | Beijing, China
We are the International Department of a top-tier Beijing high school and are now inviting qualified ESL teachers to join us for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Position at a Glance
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekend classes)
• Workload: Guaranteed < 25 teaching periods per week (2023–2024 average: < 20)
• Students: Motivated Chinese high-school students preparing for overseas universities
• Start Date: August 2025 (renewable annual contract)
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: ¥20,000 – ¥35,000 per month (pre-tax), commensurate with experience & credentials
• Housing: Fully furnished on-campus apartment provided (or housing allowance if preferred)
• Insurance: Comprehensive private medical insurance
• Travel Allowance: Annual flight reimbursement
• Paid holidays: All Chinese public holidays + winter & summer breaks
• Work visa & residence permit fully sponsored
Requirements
• Native-level English speaker with a passport from an English-speaking country
• Bachelor’s degree or above (Education, TESOL, or related field preferred)
• Recognized TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (120+ hours)
• Minimum 2 years of high-school EFL/ESL teaching experience OR relevant subject teaching background
• Professional, adaptable, and enthusiastic about preparing students for international study
