Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Early Childhood Education Director to lead our kindergarten. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. The Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kindergarten, managing staff, implementing educational programs, and working closely with parents and the community to ensure the highest quality of education and care for our students.
Responsibilities:
• Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the kindergarten, ensuring alignment with the school's mission, values, and educational goals.
• Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of the PYP (Primary Years Programme) curriculum, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students.
• Manage and mentor a team of dedicated teachers and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and excellence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community, promoting effective communication and engagement in the educational process.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant educational standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the kindergarten, implementing strategies to address areas for improvement and achieve measurable outcomes.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as reasonably required by the Early Years Leadership Team, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to challenges.
• Maintain a holistic and big-picture view, prioritizing the interests of the school and division in all decision-making processes.
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Education or above.
• Valid Teaching Certificate in Early Childhood Education.
• At least 10 years of teaching experience in kindergarten, with a proven track record of success.
• Relevant experience in PYP programme implementation and authorization, including familiarity with the IB framework and best practices.
• Native English Speaker with strong communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A role model for teachers, embodying patience, optimism, compassion, enthusiasm, and empathy.
• Competent in working in a diverse working environment, with an ability to adapt to different cultural and educational contexts.
• Excellent time management skills and organizational abilities, with a focus on efficiency and attention to detail.

• Proficient in IT skills, with experience in leveraging technology to enhance teaching and learning in a school setting.
