Job Details
• Position: Korean Teacher
• Location: YC-Tangshan High School, Hebei Province, China
• Contract Duration: One academic year, with the possibility of renewal
Salary and Benefits
• Monthly Salary: 15,000 RMB per month (after tax)
• Annual Salary: 165,000 RMB per year (after tax)
• Housing Subsidy: 1,500 RMB per month
• Holiday Entitlement: Enjoy public holidays in China, including New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, May Day, National Day, and other holidays regulated by Chinese laws and regulations.
• Vacation Pay: During winter and summer vacations, teachers will receive 50% of their monthly salary if there are no courses. If classes are held during the vacation, payment will be made according to actual working hours.
• Renewal Bonus: Upon completion of one year of work and renewal of the contract for the next academic year, teachers will receive an air ticket subsidy of 6,000 RMB (before tax). If the new contract is not completed, the subsidy must be returned.
Responsibilities
• Teach Korean language courses to high school students
• Develop engaging and effective lesson plans
• Assess and provide feedback on students’ progress
• Participate in school activities and events
Requirements
• Native or near-native fluency in Korean
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Korean language or related fields
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
