We are currently seeking a Middle School English Literature and ESL Teacher to help guide our diverse student body in developing strong language, literacy, and critical thinking skills. Position Overview
As an English Literature and ESL Teacher, you will:
• Teach engaging and differentiated lessons in English Literature and ESL to students in grades 6–8, aligned with American Common Core Standards.
• Foster a love of reading, writing, and analytical thinking through the study of various literary genres and texts.
• Support English language learners in developing academic language proficiency across all four domains: reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
• Design and implement ESL strategies and interventions to meet the needs of multilingual learners.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide meaningful feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language support across content areas.
• Participate in parent conferences, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Supervise students during class, school events, and field trips as needed.
Salary: 25,000 – 28,000 RMB per month

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, ESL, Education, or a related field
• Teaching license or ESL certification (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA)
• Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience, preferably with ESL students
• Strong understanding of US Common Core standards and ESL best practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• A passion for working with adolescents and a commitment to student success
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
• 3 classes per day (90 minutes each)
• 1 advisory/tutor session (45 minutes)
• Weekly staff meeting (Wednesdays, up to 1 hour)
