TEACH MUSIC IN CHINA – IMMEDIATE START IN JIAXING, ZHEJIANG

Location: Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China – a picturesque water-town 30 min by high-speed rail to Shanghai & Hangzhou.
School: Accredited international school offering IB-inspired curriculum.
Position: Elementary Music Teacher (Native or Non-native English speakers welcome)
Visa: Full legal work (Z) visa & residence permit provided.
What We Offer
• Salary: RMB 20,000–25,000 AFTER tax per month
• Housing: Additional RMB 2,500 AFTER tax monthly allowance – find your own place or use our agent.
• Hours: Mon–Fri 8:00 am–5:00 pm, weekends off. Only 183 working days per academic year.
• Extra Duties: Maximum 10 weekend school-wide events or admissions activities per year (compensated).
• Flights: Round-trip airfare reimbursement up to RMB 8,000 each completed year.
• Meals: Free buffet breakfast & lunch on campus
• Paid Holidays: All Chinese national holidays + Christmas week + 3-week winter break + 7-week summer break.
• Relocation: Airport pick-up, initial hotel nights, and settling-in assistance.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Music Education, Performance, or related field – must be Hague-apostilled.
• Teaching license / QTS or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years elementary classroom experience (IB PYP background a plus).
• Clean criminal background check issued within the last 6 months – must be Hague-apostilled.
• Passion for working with children ages 6–12 and fostering creativity through music.
