Job Description

Will work on the development of software systems for collecting performance data and using it to automatically optimize programs or to recommend manual optimization strategies. Work will involve creating the algorithms for analyzing telemetry data, writing proof-of-concept vehicles, testing, evaluating, reporting on them, and ultimately working with product teams to deploy automated solutions that create new value for Intel's customers.


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, ore related field

- Two years experience with performance measurement, performance tuning
- Knowledge of computer architecture and microarchitecture, including both CPU control structures and memory unit structures (reorder buffers, caches, load buffers, store buffers, issue width constraints, retirement order constraints, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with C++ and Fortran programming in HPC applications
- Experience with compiler technology, especially high-level loop transformations (tiling/interchange)
- Proven track record of academic publishing
- Experience with collecting and analyzing large data sets

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
