Job Description:
• Teach English as a second language to primary-aged students, in line with school curriculum requirements.
• Teach transdisciplinary units of inquiry alongside local teachers.
• Teach one additional subject (e.g., math, PE, or drama) alongside a local teacher to promote English learning outside of English subject classes.
• Teach an interest class based on a hobby or interest (e.g., cooking, photography) or run pull-out sessions for native/near-native English speakers.
• Run after-school clubs twice a week.
• Attend scheduled meetings to collaborate with co-teachers and other department members.
• Attend duty once a week to interact with students and promote their English language acquisition.
• Attend whole-school weekly events, such as flag-raising and morning exercises.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, PGCE, or equivalent certification.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Teaching experience in IB PYP or equivalent curriculum.
Salary and Benefits:
• Salary Range: 24,000 to 28,000 RMB (before tax) per month, based on experience and qualifications.
• Housing Allowance: 2,000 RMB per month included in the salary package.
