English Teacher – Primary School (Grade 5)

School Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our primary school in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English spoken lessons to Grade 5 students in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Primary School English Teacher (Full-time)

Responsibilities
• Deliver full-time English spoken lessons to Grade 5 students (ages 9–10)
• Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate oral English classes
• Participate in school activities and collaborate with Chinese teaching staff
• Maintain a positive and interactive classroom atmosphere
Requirements
• Native English speaker
• Bachelor’s degree or above (Education or related field preferred)
• Relevant teaching experience preferred; TEFL/TESOL certificate an advantage
• Passionate about teaching young learners and committed to student development
• Clean criminal background check and valid health certificate
Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: RMB 18,000 – 22,000 per month (after tax)
• Accommodation: Free on-campus or off-campus housing provided
• Social Security & Insurance: Full social security, medical insurance, and commercial insurance coverage
• Paid Leave:
• Winter holiday: 20 days
• Summer holiday: 2 months
• Note: Summer vacation in the first contract year is unpaid. Upon contract renewal for the second year, a winter vacation subsidy of RMB 4,000 will be provided.
• All Chinese public holidays and Christmas holidays provided
• Contract Length: 1 year (renewable)
Working Schedule
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (weekends off)
• Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 daily
• Total Hours: 40 hours per week (25 teaching hours + preparation/office hours)
• Class Duration: 45 minutes per class
• Class Size: Approximately 35 students
