The Firmware validation team's charter is to check Intel Core processor's Firmware, make sure it functions according to the SPEC and verify its integrity, its quality and its Security.
Firmware validation engineers are leading engineers in these domains and are involved in all Core processor development stages: Architectural definition, Micro-Architectural definition, Design, Validation and Post Silicon debug.
The Firmware validation team allows its members a personal and professional development in many challenging fields. The engineer will be involved in all validation activities such as: test plan development, test writing, checkers development, regression runs, debug and coverage analysis.
This job is open for experience and versatile engineers with good knowledge in at least 2 of the following areas: Intel Architecture, Core Micro-Architecture, Firmware validation, Pre-silicon Validation, Post-silicon validation. The job requires excellent analysis abilities, creativity, innovative thinking and ability to collaborate with other development teams both in Israel and abroad.

This role is focused on Patch validation which is part of the firmware validation and will emphasis on patch fixes validation for leading projects.

Qualifications

Graduated B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
- Familiarity with CPU architecture would be an advantage.
- Knowledge in Assembly - advantage.
- Knowledge in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) design - advantage.
- Experience in Linux environment - advantage.
