We are currently seeking experienced and qualified University English Teachers to join our team across different locations in China. The positions are available in Xi'an with full-time contracts for one year, starting in February 2025.
About Us Our organization is a multinational entity that facilitates collaborative arrangements between Chinese universities and universities in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. These partnerships enable students to complete part of their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees both in China and overseas
. Responsibilities 1. Teaching: Deliver English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs to Chinese university students who may transfer to overseas universities in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. This involves preparing and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of students.
2. Administrative Tasks: Carry out administrative functions in a timely and accurate manner. This includes recording attendance, providing written feedback on student assessments, and maintaining accurate records.
3. Student Support: Address individual student needs and concerns both inside and outside the classroom. This may involve providing additional support to students who require it and ensuring that their academic and personal concerns are addressed.
4. Professional Development: Actively participate in and encourage professional development activities with local teachers at our Branches in China. This includes attending workshops, sharing best practices, and engaging in collaborative projects.
5. Meetings and Teamwork: Attend weekly Branch meetings and help create a positive team environment. Contribute to the delivery of quality English language courses by working closely with colleagues and sharing ideas. Workload
• Total Weekly Hours: 38 hours per week.
• Teaching Hours: 20-21 hours of face-to-face teaching.
• Office Hours: 17-18 hours for lesson planning, paper grading, student tutorials, etc. Office hours are flexible to accommodate your schedule.
Requirements
1. Education: Master’s degree or above.
2. Certifications: Teaching certificates such as CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL are required.
3. Experience: Minimum of one-year EAP teaching experience at a recognized provider is preferred. Online teaching experience is also preferred.
4. Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, and a passion for teaching English as an academic subject.
