General Description 职位概述
The primary objective of this role is to work with the Academic Enhancement Centre (AEC) to promote the effective use of learning and teaching technologies across campus with a view to generating on-line and blended learning resources.
Main Responsibilities:
Provide support to academic staff in developing technology-assisted resources to support learning and teaching.
Support the effective implementation of new learning technologies, social media and other web-based technologies across campus, using both on-line and blended learning approaches.
Act as an initial consultation point for academic staff seeking to incorporate e-Learning components into their modules/degree programmes.
To keep up-to-date with changes and developments in the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (MOODLE).
Liaise and collaborate with colleagues at the AEC to promote best practice in e-learning on campus.
Work collaboratively within the Centre for Academic Affairs (CAA) and in particular the AEC to contribute in achieving the AEC’s ongoing operational objectives.
Support ETT colleagues to evaluate the development and impact of technology-enhance learning across the University.
To reflect on their own professional practice and keep abreast with current developments in e-learning through engagement with the wider community.
Carry out any other duties as required, commensurate with the role position.
Skills and Knowledge (技能)
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience and understanding of blended learning pedagogy and practices
Ability to track project status, and report effectively to project leads/sponsors
Experience configuring a Virtual Learning Environment, such as Moodle, would be an asset.
Essential Qualifications and Experience (资历)
A Masters degree in a related field for example, learning technologies; e-learning, or educational technology.
A minimum of three years relevant work experience in a Higher Education setting.
Membership of a related professional association would be beneficial.
