Job Purpose: Candidate must be able to develop preventative, repair and maintenance on front feature lake systems and swimming pool equipment including, but not limited to; filters, chemical feeders, chemical controllers, pumps, hair and lint strainers. CPO certification preferred, aquatic maintenance experience preferred: 2-3 years’ experience in water quality control or 3 years’ experience in E&M system.

Daily Operations

• Provide engineering direction and monitor maintenance for the front feature lake, villa pools and all related aquatic equipment.
• Develop and complete applications, engineering reports, audits, permits of maintenance and repairs of all aquatic features and pool facilities.
• Familiarity with field testing meters and other commonly used field monitoring devices.
• Assist, prioritize, assign, supervise, and review the work of staff responsible for technical support activities required for overall water quality of front feature lake and pools
• Assist resolving complaints about water quality; explain procedures and process of water analysis.
• Manage and participate in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and priorities for providing chemical, physical, and bacteriological tests on water samples; implement policies and procedures.
• Prepare various reports on operations and activities; maintain records of chemicals used and test performed; submit reports to regulatory agencies; maintain quality control files and program files.
• Serve as liaison for the water quality division with other divisions, departments and outside agencies interested in water quality
• Prepare regular reports to the Senior Engineer such as working report, spare parts stock, etc...
• Perform duties assigned by the Senior Engineer
• Responds and actions to any emergency call and lead the team to resolve problem in short space of time and to resume show ASAP

Competencies and Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in water utilities and filtration systems for a major resort.
Knowledge/Certificates: Candidate shall have a strong working knowledge of maintaining pool chemistry, through automation, and installation, troubleshooting of, repairs and maintenance of front feature lake (WET) equipment, pool filters, water and chemical pumps, and all other public pools, spas. Shall lead a team of front feature and pool technicians and manage their schedules accordingly. Willingness to become SCUBA certified.
Education: Preferred experience with principles of chemistry, biology, bacteriological, and related fields; experience with standard water lab, field and treatment processes, practices, methods, techniques, and terminology; experience with material and equipment used in the laboratory to analyze water quality
Language Abilities: Good Cantonese, Mandarin or English an advantage
Computer Skills: Basic skill in using computer. Knowledge of computer hardware configuration and software programming an advantage
