Position: Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Computer Science
Wenzhou-Kean University is seeking faculty from all disciplines for its campus in Wenzhou,China.All faculty positions are full-time assignments, effective for the start of the fall 2019 semester. Positions will be offered at either the tenure-track or Lecturer level.Tenure-track appointments are available at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor, where indicated, and require teaching assignments; student and learning support services; advising; service to the university and/or professional community; and research and publication.

A Lecturer is a full-time employee who teaches and provides student and learning support services during the assigned period. Ten-month lecturers teach 30 credits per academic year; twelve-month lecturers teach up to 39 credits per year. Lecturers teach; provide student and learning support services; service to the university and/or professional community; and perform related work as required. Lecturer positions are non-tenure track and may be renewed on an annual basis. All faculty at Wenzhou-Kean University will be paid by WKU, with salaries and benefits comparable to faculty at Kean USA, plus travel and housing allowances.

Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. All faculty may be required to teach General Education courses as needed. Opportunities are also available to teach disciplinary support courses. Qualifications:
1) A Doctorate degree is required in the relevant or a related field for tenure-track positions; ABD considered with completion prior to the effective date of employment.
2) A minimum of one year of teaching experience at the post-secondary level and English fluency is required for all positions.

Computer Science - to teach a full range of undergraduate Computer Science courses (CSO/1/2 in Java). Tenure-track candidates should demonstrate scholarly capability and an active research agenda in core areas of computer science, information systems and information technology. Faculty are expected to contribute to the growth of the programs, including, but not limited to: curriculum development, program assessment, student recruitment/advisement, senior project supervision, internship opportunities, research experience for undergraduates (REU), etc.
