About the Job

Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an experienced Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. At TI, the role of the Financial Planning Analyst is to drive financial excellence for the business. This individual ensures the financial health of the business (credibility, integrity and compliance); specifically R&D classification and allocation of cost to each business unit. They support management with information and analysis to make better business decisions, and support the data needs of TI management. And they provide leadership to in the areas of financial forecasting, efficiency improvements, reporting enhancements, risk and profitability analyses, and development of predictive indices.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for financial disciplines: compliance; financial planning; inventory and cost accounting; and Assembly and Test (A/T) product costing
  • Monthly and quarterly accounting close & analysis
  • Financial Planning for Quarterly/Annual financial forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis and explain relationships between operational performance and financial results for various business reviews; highlight issues and areas for attention & improvement
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis to support management to make better business decisions
  • Support quarterly and annual audit activities including physical inventory audit, Internal Controls Checklist compliance and ICCR
  • Work closely with Taiwan A/T Operations & Support Functions to drive compliance disciplines, operational efficiencies, process improvements and cost savings
  • Collaborate with worldwide and regional Finance and Accounting teams.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, and 6-10 years relevant experience
  • Previous financial planning experience preferred
  • Effective interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; attention to details
  • Able to present logical arguments based upon sound analysis of issues and a compelling rationale for proposed actions or solutions
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-pace business environment
  • Multi-tasking and independently prioritize workload to accomplish goals and deliver results
  • Continually improve processes and drive change to achieve stronger accounting processes and internal control
  • Demonstrate ability to lead discussion, projects and teams
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong work ethics
