Electrical Engineering Manager

Location: Shenzhen

ASA Electronics LLC. is looking for an Electrical Engineering Manager with passion for innovation, quality, efficiency, and the desire to grow up with the company, who will work in ASA Asia office in Shenzhen China taking part in the electrical development of various specified applications in automotive field.

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage the hardware part in project lifecycle.
• Communicate with Product Marketing to clarify the high level requirements of the product and make alignment with project team.
• Define hardware design scope, goals and deliverables
• Vendor management for ODM projects.

o Effectively deploy project expectations to ODM team members.

o Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise ODM project team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

o Define the process and drive ODM process improvement.

• Whole cycle of hardware development for inhouse projects.

o Lead the inhouse team to achieve the goal of on time and qualified deliverables

o System architecture design, including key components selection, processor GPIO assignment, etc.

o Design review, troubleshooting, optimization

o Production experience is a plus.

• Regular report of the development status.

Position Requirements:

• A BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent is required. Master degree is a plus.

• Over 10 years' hardware development experience of car audio or automotive category products.

o Strong skills of common electrical development/design tools (or CAD, PADS, etc.)

o Familiar with various product requirements of car audio products (Parametric, Regulatory, etc.)

• Good reading/written communication skills in English. Verbal skill is a plus.

• Strong IPD Project management background
• Rich process experience and good initiative ideas
• Vendor management experience is preferred
• Willing to learn new technologies, meanwhile with good self-learning abilities.
