This is an excellent opportunity to join an emerging power engineering company in Myanmar with aggressive growth plans in the region where you will be working closely with a team of qualified professionals and an experienced foreign management. This role reports directly to the Operation
Director.
Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

• Prepare, maintain and upgrade Project Master Plan and formulate winning strategy for project to

project basis (innovative T&C, creating key differentiators, Financial Model)

• Effectively supporting Business Operation efforts, leading initiatives to expand to new segment/

business area and adding new financial partner/ investment banking.

• Lead & monitor all successful tenders and contracts by complying international HSE standards.
• Provide commercial leadership and coordinate with Corporate management for all investment

proposals in Thermal/ Hydro / Solar/ Wind projects.

• Lead commercial negotiations with Stakeholders (Customers/ Strategic partners/ multi funded

bankers/ investment bankers/ Relevant Government Personnel) in all MOU/ MOA/ CA/ PPAs/
Strategic partnership, financing; and support achieving financial close outs.

• Lead in initiation for upcoming tenders.
• Continuous monitor team performance aligned to the CEO’s Strategy, if and when necessary provide

coaching & mentoring, and improve team work by holding team meetings twice a week or once a
week.

Competency Requirements
Education and Experience

• Engineering related degree, Master Degree in Engineering is preferred
• Minimum 5 year experience in Management role and has commercial thinking and work safety

experience

• Minimum 10 Years’ experience in Chinese Power Generation/ Service / Engineering Trading in

Power Sector

• Proven track record of Business development and project management in power generation/

distribution projects. Experience in Engineering commercial is preferred.

• Language in English and Chinese
• Able to work with Myanmar local people and foreign partners, and travel when necessary
