1. Key Objectives and Scope of the Position

Macro policy and economic trend are important to guide regulatory making and impact industry development. This position is expected to lead to develop macro policy report and represent BMW to engage with relevant key think tanks. He / She needs to prepare BMW position paper / briefing for high& senior management. To support BMW's interests in China, he / she also needs to predict, analyze & report trade policy (US-China trade friction, ASEAN FTA, RCEP, TPP), investment policy (BIT and JV limit) and auto tariff reduction.

2. Major Responsibilities and Degree of Influence

• Lead to develop timely reports on political and economic situations to deepen the understanding on China's macro environment for BMW development;
• Prepare BMW key message, briefing and presentation materials for senior management's engagement with authorities and KOLs and publich speech for political events.

1. Education / Degree:
University degree (BA or MA) on business management, economy, public affairs

2. Knowledge / Skills /Competences

• Strong knowledge in government structure, policy frame and policy-making process, automotive industrial development;
• High interpersonal and communication skill, customer-oriented attitude and good team spirit;
• Excellent language skills in Chinese and English (written and oral), German language skills will be helpful;

3. Experience
>5 years working experiences in govnerment affairs or comparable experiences in business development, communication and consulting.
3-5 years automotive related working expierence is preferred
