The implementation of digital solutions together with different stakeholders on a global scale is our daily business. This role requires initiating and maintaining relationships with key internal and external partners. The successful candidate works very independently, but in close collaboration with the IT team in different regions and the Global IT Innovation Manager, part of the office of the CTO for Daimler Financial Services Task description 1. Innovation & technology scouting -You will drive early adoption of new technologies by translating technical concepts into relevant business use cases -You will support the evaluation process of new partners by screening and scouting trends and technologies, companies – together with relevant stakeholders when applicable -You will enhance the innovative ecosystem of our company with internal and external partners, especially from the startup scene in China 2. Prototyping & Pilots -Bring ideas for new technologies from concept to running pilots and ensure broad adoption within our organization to create business value -Validate the integration of new technologies, modules, services or applications within the existing application landscape -Verify compliance with company standards -Strong collaboration with Architecture team to accelerate technology evolution 3. Global Scalability -Represent ITF China in global initiatives and share innovative technologies within our organization to ensure global scalability of solutions and close alignment with different regions and international offices

Qualification Education Bachelor and/or Master degree in computer science or equivalent. Experience •5 – 7 years of experience in Information Technology in different roles ideally in a cross-functional working environment •Thereof 1 – 2 years experience in software development and software design. •Hands-on experience on implementation of prototypes & initial pilots for early adoption •Lead intial concepts to translate technology into relevant business values •Enthusiastic about digital topics and familiar with innovation management and you have a strong passion for trends and technologies •Familiar with agile software development methods and rapid prototyping •Good communication and presentation skills and you are experienced in stakeholder management at different levels •Proof of successfully delivered global projects to ensure that innovations get really implemented in our organization •Willingness for travelling to exchange with Startups and Digital Leaders globally Specific Knowledge •Strong knowledge in object oriented design, software architecture and skills to create extensible and reusable Applications •Strong ability to cooperate and coordinate with the teams from different countries or different cultural background •Very good English skills
