Responsibilities:

  • Act as a business partner for the business unit (JI) and as an effective communicator between BU and the Group HR to provide professional advice in all aspects of HR functions.
  • Disseminate and implement adequate human capital best practices, HR related policies, practices, and procedures for Business Unit (JI) accordingly to Group HR policies and programmes in order to maximize strategic priorities and imperatives
  • Be the primary point of contact for Business Unit supported, provide HR support and quality communications and interactions with all management and employees.
  • Support in employee relations and people management aspects to all regions and business unit managers on HR best practices.
  • Bring Group’s core values to the employees and bridge the communication between the Group HR and the Business Unit.
  • Recruit the right talent for the Business Unit in a timely and effective manner by conducting interview and other necessary assessments as well as providing recommendations; collaborate proactively with GHR recruitment team if needed.
  • Routinely handle questions/situations and maintain necessary documentation concerning employee benefits, leave programs, salary/wages, payroll, company and HR policies, recognition; recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, corrective action and discipline.
  • Compile regular and ad-hoc HR-related statistics and reports for management review.
  • Perform other ad-hoc HR duties and/or manage special projects, as required.

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.
  • 8 years’ account servicing or generalist human resources experience, preferably gained in sizable organizations.
  • Hands-on experience in recruitment and handling employee relations issues; Knowledge of compensation and benefits practice is an advantage.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills, the ability to multi-task and facilitate resolution of sensitive and/or difficult employee-related issues.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented and creative. Integrity and “can-do” attitude are also essential.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with a variety of people at all levels.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong PC skills in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
