Benefits:
• 11-month teaching contract
• Medical insurance (American International Assurance Co.) will be provided.
• 1-month’s salary (based on teaching hours) as a re-signing bonus for teachers who teach more than one year.
• A longevity bonus for teachers who teach more than three years.
• All government holidays are paid as well as four weeks of paid vacation (winter holiday).
Teaching Duties:
• 16 teaching hours/week; English and Social Studies
• 4-8 office hours/week
• Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues regarding student progress and student behavior concerns.
• Assign and grade class work, homework, tests, assessments and assignments and maintain proper student records in the Student Information System (SIS). (Training will be provided.)
• Coordinate with the Director of Studies to complete internal and external moderation of grades.
• Assign, receive, and grade students’ assessments on the Learning Management System.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
• Provide appropriate oral and written feedback on students’ work.
• Support recruitment operations as needed and requested.
Teaching Qualifications:
Competitive candidates will have:
• (Minimum) > 2-years teaching experience
• (Minimum) A bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject-area.
• (Minimum) TEFL/TESL Certificate
• (Preferred) Teaching certification
