Deloitte Asia Pacific Member Firm brings together our geographies in Australia, China, Japan, Southeast Asia and New Zealand as of 1 September 2018. Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, the role brings strategy & innovation close together, and develop innovation portfolio that maximizes value to the Businesses.

Through the recent combination of Member Firms in Asia, the newly formed Deloitte Asia Pacific (AP) offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic corporate strategy function that operates at the intersection of corporate and business unit strategy, innovation, M&A and ventures in the AP region.
Reporting to the AP CSIO, we are seeking a highly motivated Manager who aspires to work across a diverse range of geographies and business units in Asia. The role brings strategy & innovation close together.
Specifically, we are looking for an exceptional talent who is passionate about strategy and innovation and who demonstrates natural curiosity about the rapid evolution of professional services and the impact of technology on our clients, services, and people.

Specific Responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to integrate AP Strategy & Innovation team working across the region to resolve the firms’ challenging strategic issues. The role will provide an opportunity to work directly with the most senior leaders in Asia Pacific. Examples of strategic initiatives you will drive or be involved in include: Deloitte AP, Participating Firm, and Business units strategy formulation and implementation
Yearly business planning for Asia Pacific as a region
Corporate development—including M&A, alliances and ventures—and deal origination across Asia Pacific
Competitive intelligence in key geographies
Innovation—in particular assets, business models, and ecosystems & alliances

Requirements:
Education (degree): Undergraduate degree in related field

Experience: You are either somebody who has experience in Strategy Consulting and who is looking to expand your skillset into innovation, or innovation professional seeking to broaden your experience in Strategy Consulting.

Other Qualifications:
Strong skills and experience in strategy development and implementation
Good fluency in English Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear messages for the audience A strong sense of ownership, accountability and drive to deliver quality outcomes Comfortable working in a global, matrixed environment Ability to build credibility with senior management on your own Willingness to commit full time for at least 2 full years
