About Animal Health Business

Job Responsibilities
- Initiate and complete customary procedures, case submissions and projects in an efficient manner and supervise laboratory staff in lab testing roles. Lab testing roles including sample receiving, storage, testing and information entry into LIMS.
- Demonstrate technical ability to create and execute non-routine experiments and procedures to meet the demands of customers and internal R&D.
- Demonstrate the ability to correctly analyze, interpret and troubleshoot outcomes of laboratory results and experiments.
- Create needed SOPs and workflow and throughput to meet customer and internal needs in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.
- Comply with applicable regulations, performing all work in a safe manner; maintains proper records in accordance with SOPs and policies.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Proactive approach to technological advances in laboratory management, information management and document control.
- Ability to learn new technology and apply appropriately with minimal supervision;
- Understanding of diagnostic laboratory mission, throughput and services.
- Awareness/proven experience for safe handling of potential hazardous biological materials and equipment.
- Experience in disease, disease pathogens and/or animal health.
- Good communication skill and interpersonal skill.
Qualifications
- Education/Degree Requirements: Masters or Bachelor’s degree
- Major: Business and/or laboratory management
- Language skills & proficiency: English (written and verbal), Science and health terminology.
- Required capabilities (skills, experience, competencies): document control, laboratory information management systems.
