Principal Accountabilities

• Lead a cross-functional project team to ensure new products can be smoothly started to produce.
• Drives the idea of the products being a part of an integrated design system, not stand-alone components. Ensures the fluid hand-over of new products into engineering and subsequently mass production manufacturing.
• Define the project planning with project team, monitor the project progress and to ensure adherence of project activities of planning schedules.
• Liaise with both internal and external parties and customer for all project related issues
• Ensures that new products are introduced in a timely manner. Reporting of project status
• Ensure the product quality is within product specification required by Product Management.
• Ensure current product improvement ideas are developed and implemented.
• Find out all possible opportunities to reach the target price as defined by Product Management (SR).
• Identify the potential project risks and define possible solutions to reduce such risks (SR).
• Assist Project Manager with the management of the cost reduction and continuous improvement project portfolio (SR)
• Provide technical coaching for the specialist and engineer (SR)

Experience or skills required

• Working experience in manufacturing industries (with rich experience will consider for the senior position)
• Familiarity with project management in manufacturing industries and well-known of the manufacturing process,
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Technically inclined.
• Analytical minded.
• Can work under high pressure
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese / Mandarin
• Good coach (SR).
• Strong managerial & leadership skills (SR)
