Treasury & Funding Specialist to help drive financial services forward

Join us and become Treasury & Funding Specialist where you’ll be responsible for assess, monitor, plan and manage the efficient utilisation of cash and financial services in a manner consistent with the objectives of the Company. We focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You’ll be part of our APAC Finance team, where you’ll have a local staff manager and functional manager from our Treasury & Funding team in Denmark.

Your key tasks will be to

  • understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow in Taiwan and other APAC countries
  • forecast daily cash requirements and execute daily financing decisions
  • conduct various financial reporting to regulators, auditors, central bank and financial counterparties
  • direct, monitor and trade investment portfolios including Working capital, High-Yield, Escrow, and other portfolios
  • assess risk/return trade-offs in guidelines.

Furthermore, you’ll assess performance benchmarks and recommend changes when warranted. You prepare or monitor company’s various cash flow forecasts and perform financial modelling. You understand and manage appropriate accounting procedures and processes. Also, you’ll manage relationships with financial service providers and monitor bank service fees and address quality issues. You’ll meet with cash management banks to plan cash management vs. APAC needs, and you support and participate in Granite’s Strategic Plan activities. Additional duties will be as directed by the supervisor.

Your competences include that you

  • have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance
  • speak and write Mandarin and English at business level and relevant and solid experience from a large company or bank
  • have extensive experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses
  • have experience in the preparation of financial schedules
  • have knowledge of banking and financial instruments
  • have general knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for investments and other financial instruments.

Moreover, you have advanced analytical, organisation, and interpersonal skills combined with excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills. You’re able to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought out conclusions. You have a solid track record of demonstrating strong project management skills. You pay attention to detail and accuracy, and you’re interested in process improvement. Also, you’re willing to adapt quickly to quick changes in direction, and you’re motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
