Job Description
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Commercial Finance Manager - Cross Border E-Commerce to join our Finance team.
This role is responsible to
- Serve as Finance business partner to support HK Cross Border E-Commerce team.
- Develop, coordinate, and consolidate budget, projection, start plan and latest view, and monthly closing for Cross Border business. Proactively identify issues and communicate to appropriate level of management to ensure financial metrics are achieved, creatively solve problems without compromising financial integrity.
- Provide finance guidance and input for sales resources allocation by brand/sub-channel/platform.
- Developing structured models for business analysis on profit and loss management, including by platform/sub-channel/brand profitability analysis, ROI evaluation for big campaign, etc.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support and facilitate decision making at business model establishment, including but not limited to end-to-end value chain analysis, Pricing guidance and Trade Architecture development and review, price-up financial analysis, Distributor ROI, Retailer margin analysis.
- Be the local SME of Distributor Management work stream, involved in Distributor recruitment and transition process to ensure optimal distributor landscape and compliance with Business Controls and Compliance policies and procedures.
- Drive one set of number to standardize financial report metrics and continuously improve the efficiency of both finance and sales.
- Lead related process and system enhancement to drive the efficiency and compliance.
- Suggest ideas and solutions that may lead to standardized, improved and optimized FP&A reporting processes. Participate in the FP&A network (GC, regional and global) for best practice sharing and knowledge exchange.
- Support FD and work with IBP coordinator in the HK IBP process. Ensure inputs from all relevant parties (sales, marketing, supply chain and finance) are included in the Integration Reconciliation process.
- Support in development and representation of training programs as it relates to financial planning and analytical processes, systems and tools.
- Business-partnering - Participate in cross-functional initiatives / projects and providing advise in different aspects including productivity initiatives, innovation as well as initiatives in commercial teams etc. as needed.
Is this You?
- Possess a Degree in Finance / Accountancy or equivalent, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent is a plus
- At least 6+ years of working experience in a multi-national organization(s) with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Commercial Finance or FP&A
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and hands-on working experience of SAP is a plus
- Solid business acumen, E-commerce especially cross border experience preferred
- Great influence power with strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems positively and professionally
- Strong time management skills and the ability to balance a multiple priorities simultaneously with excellent attention to detail
