Job Description
ERP (Application Finance Domain) Support Engineer:

This position represents for Microsoft to provide product support, training and consulting to partners and customers of Asia OR GCR region in Microsoft Dynamics AX Finance & HR domains.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high level of domain and technical skill in Microsoft AX
  • You should be capable to solve technically complex problems for finance application domain in a fast-paced, high-growth product area.
  • Provide in-depth technical support for customer service delivery via telephone, written correspondence, or electronic service regarding technically complex, escalated problems
  • As a Microsoft trusted advisor, you should be instrumental in understanding the problem statements, and provide a solution or technical documentation or troubleshooting steps.
  • Expected to collaborate with support engineers from across the regions to get help and share knowledge in resolving the problems.
  • Manage the communication with the partner and customer independently
  • Report software bugs and be an advocate for product improvement using customer suggestions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in politically challenged environments.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience in consulting, customer support for any ERP product.
  • Strong customer service, accurate and logical problem solving.
  • A working knowledge of Finance, Travel Expense, Human Resources, Talent & Project management accounting and cross domain skills is a plus.
  • Strong debugging skills desired but not required, e.g. ability to read and analyze log & traces files, SQL trace, etc.
  • A working experience of Visual Studio, SharePoint and Exchange
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and sharing knowledge with others through training delivery and mentoring
  • Interpersonal and relationship skills proven through work experience
  • Passion for lifelong learning and personal and professional development.
  • Bachelor or master’s degree in financial accounting or Management Information Systems or Computer Science or Computer Engineering (preferred)
  • Excellent Communication Skills - verbal, listening, and written (including technical writing).
  • English Language: fluent in reading, writing and speaking.
