Working with the Lead Analyst who has more than ten years’ experience to cover the whole healthcare sector, your main task is to assist the Portfolio Managers in managing their equities portfolios. You will play a part in developing the investment processes for Chinese equities (key focus on Chinese companies listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchange); making calls on buy and sell decisions of securities within the segment by conducting in-depth investment analysis and company research, based on fundamental bottom-up research.

To qualify, you must have an excellent academic background from a reputable university and a solid 3 - 5 years of experience as an investment analyst with asset management firm and/or a sell-side equity analyst with a reputable investment bank. Strong analytical, financial modelling and presentation skills are required. Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese are a must. The job is based in Shanghai. Travel is required.
