Translation Project Coordinator - Intern


SUMMARY

This position serves as a Translation Project Coordinator Intern within the Life Science team at SDL. The Translation Project Coordinator Intern is responsible for some key translation project management tasks including client communication, translation project cost estimation, running ad hoc reports through various company systems, record keeping activities, and supporting in the preparation of client activities of various types. The role is ideal to learn the complexities of translation project management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is support role reporting to team Lead. It It includes the following responsibilities:
 In charge of client communication via email or phone.
 Handle incoming calls, take messages and promote effective inter-office communication.
 Manage mailbox communication.
 Perform production analyses and estimations .
 Track activity and review, tabulate and enter data into a variety of systems.
 Raise purchase orders to vendors.
 May act as a liaison for the Line Manager in their absence.
 Perform translation quotations and translation project-specific duties as assigned
