Key Responsibilities:

• On Behalf of the Project’s Interior Design Consultant, monitor the progress of the Interior fit-out and installation of the Project to ensure that the construction is being implemented in accordance with the overall interior design concept and documentation.
• Monitor and report work progress on a regular basis to project designers.
• Review Interior Design related construction drawings, details, shop drawings, etc;
• Review interior design related site activities and liaise/coordinate with client's representatives, subcontractors, hotel operator and related consultants.
• Respond to RFIs as needed.
• Stationed onsite throughout the entire construction period to provide support to the client's Project Manager and the project team.
• Prepare and generate reports and schedules, and check the design shop drawings and materials.
• Inspect the job site to verify quality on construction and installation and liaise with all parties concerned in order to maintain the quality standards of the project.
• Maintain a professional and good working relationship with clients, hotel operator, local contractors and suppliers.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker with fluent English communication skills.
• 5-7+ years’ experience as a site project manager with Hospitality projects and high-rise buildings in China.
• 7+ years’ experience as interior designers with Hospitality projects.
• Familiar with architectural finishes/materials and furnishings and applications in interior design.
• Good knowledge of furniture construction, specifications and quality control;
• Computer Literate (AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and Projects);
• Willing to travel and work overtime as required;
• Pleasant personality and self-motivated with assertive attitude;
• Strong sense of responsibility.
