Purpose of the Job:
Set up and implement information security strategy and policies to protect Bekaert information assets and physical assets (IP protection).
Your Role
- Develop information security strategy and implementation
- Develop information security strategy to safeguard Bekaert assets, make long term and short-term plan, and set up goals and action plan, align industry standards with Bekaert practices. Make effective communications of the strategy and goals to business units and its partners, influence management to promote information security.

- Partner with business leaders
- Partner and communicate with business leaders from all level, including VP, GM and managers to ensure loss prevention strategy implementation, and better understand business needs.

- Maintain, develop, and Manage BSM system
- Maintain and manage Bekaert security management system to ensure its implementation in Bekaert, provide training and receive feedback on the BSM system, organize BSM audit and ensure corrective action taken, communicate with business leaders of the audit result and make continuous improvement over the system.

- Lead Security Coordinators team
- Lead Security Coordinators team, Plan & coordinate security activities China wide, and efficiently support and direct security coordinators to fulfill their tasks, Provide training & coaching to team members. Organize and run monthly and yearly meetings, share good practices etc.

- Security Awareness
- Set up long term and yearly plan for security awareness programs, maintain the routine security awareness activities, and support plant to do the security awareness activities

- Liaison with external resources to support business growth
- Positive participate external security organization to get advance security practices and technology to serve company needs, liaise with external resources.

- Partner with IT
- Good understanding of ICT technology, keep contact with Bekaert IT for IT security and incident response, support IT security initiatives

- Manage IP protection Projects
- Partner with business to support them to do the IP protection projects based on ISMS (ISO 27000).

Your Profile
- Bachelor degree or above, major in Information Technology or Security is a plus
- At least 8 years work experience, more than 3 years’ experience in information security related experience
- ISMS (ISO27001) implementation experience is a plus
- Good inter-personal communication skill
- Good knowledge in project management
- Good command of spoken and written English
