Job Description

The Logistics Analyst/Cost Manager works in support of the Factory Logistics Operations team, which is a part of the Global Logistics Organization (GLO). Looking for a candidate who is motivated and passionate about data, can knit together a clear and concise story with data from multiple, disaggregated sources, comfortable as part of a local and global team, energized by a fast paced and ambiguous environment. The person in this role provides data analytics support for one or more categories, including: Non-Finished Goods, Capital Supporting Items, Capital Tools, Wafer/Die, or Inter-plant Traffic with the following scope:

  • Freight Volume & Spending Management: Analysis of volume and forecast trends, analysis of spending trends, specific lane level spending analysis, On Time Delivery information.

  • Warehouse Volume & Spending Management: Warehouse sqft utilization and spending, review/approval of warehouse invoices, providing warehouse utilization and spending forecasts for POR.

  • Cost Savings: Monitor volume and spending in all the above mentioned categories, and identify cost saving opportunities.

  • Global Analytics Projects: Participate in and contribute to the Analyst Working Group (AWG) in support of global FDL efforts including bid/negotiation analytics, systems development, and continuous improvement.

  • KPI Management: Generation of dashboards including Supplier Report Cards (SRC), Data Validation and Balanced Score Card management.

  • Proven influencing skills, including evidence of having presented decision-oriented/action-oriented presentations.

  • Communicates with both tactical/technical team players but also communicates laterally (partner groups) and upward to management.

  • Produces results to unstructured problems in a self-directed way, independently develops project schedules and manages performance against schedule and defined critical success indicators.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.

Minimum Qualifications:

  •  Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical discipline (Supply Chain Management, Operations and Analytics, Data Science) or related field of study.
  • 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following disciplines:
    • Advanced skills in: Excel, PowerBI, BOBJ, SQL
    • Intermediate skills in: Python or R programming language.
    • Definition of ROI and development/delivery of complex presentations to management, anticipating audience reaction and potential questions.
    • KPI management experience.
  • This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Preferred qualifications:

  •  Master's Degree preferred.
