As an Analytics and Data Science Intern, you will be responsible for: • You will work with real data to solve real business problems • You will use data science and visualization tools • You will collaborate with other Data Scientists to research new methodologies and deliver new solutions This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers • Enjoy learning new techniques, software and methodologies of data science and analytics • Have a desire to work in a diverse team environment • Enjoy storytelling and working along a business narrative to solve problems • Have an innovative mindset • Are considerate and respectful, leaving your ego at home Required skills to have for the success of this role • You have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field • You are currently in a graduate (or 5 year undergraduate) program in Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field. • Skilled at computer programming – SQL, Python, SAS, R, etc. • Must have a current GPA of 3.2 or better • Must be local to the Cary, NC site (50 miles or less) • Must be available to work full time (40 hours/week) for the duration of the internship • Must be comfortable working onsite while adhering to company-mandated COVID-19 policies and procedures, as well as remote work if necessary Start Date: Late Spring 2022, 4-month duration Siemens Healthineers has recently announced the next steps in our continued commitment to prioritize colleague health, comply with customer/business partner requirements, and help preserve our business continuity.
